Bowen Family System’s Theory Class
If you have ever felt anxiety or heightened emotions when you are around your family, the theories explained in this class may help you calm down and have less anxiety.
When: Wednesday nights starting on September 18. We will start each class with a time for centering at 6:00pm, and class will follow from 6:15-7:00pm.
Pastor Jules has been teaching BFST for nearly twenty years and she is a trained facilitator for the Daring Way™ and Rising Strong™ Curricula designed by Brené Brown.
This is open to the public. Please invite your friends and family to participate. See you there!
The Sanctuary Choir sings during worship once every month and for holidays or other special occasions. The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:05pm. If you are interested in joining the choir or have any music-related questions, please contact Karen Pieper.
Health Ministry Team
The Health Ministry Team is dedicated to educating people on physical, mental, and emotional health. The Health Ministry Team coordinates adult education events between worship services. Check the church calendar for upcoming events and read the monthly newsletter for important articles pertaining to health.
Join us on the third Tuesday of every month for food, faith, and fellowship at the Fireside Social House in Hastings (108 2nd Street East). We start with some socializing at 5:30pm, but come as you are and when you can. Contact Pastor Tanner with any questions.
The quilting group creates quilts of all sizes for the Holiday Fair and as warm gifts for persons in our church and community and beyond.
Morning quilters: Join us every Monday morning from 8:30am until noon.
Evening quilters: The evening quilters meet the first and third Mondays of the month at 6:30pm. An enjoyable evening for those who can’t attend the morning quilters.

The Taskforce in support of immigrant families
The Taskforce in Support of Immigrant Families advocates for social justice for immigrant families. The group meets to educate others on current events and immigration policies. Click here for more information and updates.
