Confirmation Ministry
Parts of Confirmation Ministry
-
Confirmation at All Saints is a 3-year program for 6th-8th graders to learn about and dig into their lives of faith. Led by our pastors and a crew of awesome volunteers, students with their peers will explore faith through scripture, catechism, conversation, worship leadership, and community involvement.
We encourage questions and explore current events as they relate to our lives as Christians in this world that God loves. We also learn about other denominations and other faith traditions as we seek to be good and faithful neighbors in our schools, homes, and communities.

One of our requirements for confirmation is that one time during the year, each family will help write the prayers of the people, and then will read those prayers during worship. Each confirmand is asked to read one petition aloud as part of this.

One of the most important parts of confirmation is going to camp during the summer. We will do our best to find a week where the majority of our confirmation class can attend together.

We have a number of events throughout the year, both during confirmation and outside of confirmation. Joining us for these events helps build community and will help your child get the most out of our program.
