Worship at All Saints is central to our life together as a community. It is in worship that we are given the opportunity to give God thanks and praise for all that God has abundantly given to us.
Weekly we gather to hear a word of hope through scripture, hymns, liturgy, good preaching, profession of our Christian faith through the Nicene or Apostles Creed, and by celebrating the sacrament of Holy Communion. As Lutheran Christians we are people who believe that we are named and claimed as God's own children through the sacrament of baptism. We are people who have been marked with the cross of Christ and sealed with the Holy Spirit and because of that reality we are inheritors of the kingdom of God, members of the Body of Christ. This is good news. This is the kind of good news we are reminded of when we come together to worship.
Psalm 97: 11-12 from The Message states:
"Light-seeds are planted in the souls of God's people,
Joy-seeds are planted in good heart-soil.
So, God's people, shout praise to God,
Give thanks to our Holy God!"
Worship at All Saints proclaims God's word of grace, forgiveness, and hope in a way that shapes our lives. We embrace a wide range of musical styles to offer our prayer, praise and thanks to God.
Mindful of Jesus' words of invitation to "let the children come to me", at All Saints we welcome and encourage children of all ages to be part of worship through the children’s message, offering, and closing song.
