Cross-Generational Ministries Team
The Cross Generational Ministry team was created out of a growing need to bring the members of All Saints together in fun and fellowship. It’s also about connecting our church members with members of our community through a variety of events, i.e., a sliding party/chili feed, a swimming party/bingo afternoon, a South African storyteller, a magician, a movie night, plus a lot more! It’s wonderful to witness kids connecting with kids, adults connecting with adults, and more importantly, kids connecting with adults. We encourage people of all ages to come together to laugh, relax, and just plain have a good time.

Prayer Shawl
The All Saints Prayer Shawl Ministry combines a love of knitting with prayers and caring. Our knitters create prayer shawls and while knitting pray for peace and comfort for the person who will be the recipient of the shawl. Once a shawl is finished, an All Saints representative, usually a pastor, presents the shawl to someone in our congregation that is in need of caring, love and comfort. This has included people who are grieving loved ones, who are facing surgery, battling an illness or facing a hard time in their life. The shawl is presented with a card telling them who knit the shawl and that the shawl is filled with prayers and love for them - the shawl is then placed around their shoulders. Reaction to this ministry has been wonderful! People have cried, told us how much closer to God they have felt with the shawl enfolding them, and how it has helped them through their troubles.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry has been sponsored by the Women of All Saints but much of the yarn has been donated by the knitters themselves. To date, we have presented more than 30 shawls and the ministry continues to grow.  Contact: Shelly Brock 651-459-5253
