I have been a part of a lot of different projects over the years: Habitat for Humanity, Loaves and Fishes, 30 Hour Famine, Feed My Starving Children, various YouthWorks projects as well as playing guitar for residents at the Ebenezer Care Facility in Burnsville. |
| Hobbies: |
In my down time, I enjoy reading, playing guitar and spending time with my wife and kids, playing video games and taking walks with my dog, Lillie. I also love spending time in nature, particularly in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. |
| Bio: |
I have been involved in full time youth ministry since 1991. While working full time, I took classes at Luther Seminary and graduated in 2008 with my Master of Divinity. I was ordained in July and All Saints Lutheran Church is my first call! I am married to another pastor, Pastor Therese Helker, who serves as Associate Pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in Apple Valley. Together, we have a blended family of three teenage daughters and one dog named Lillie. |

I joined All Saints in 2007, am a member of the Missions Team and enjoy helping at church as needed. I taught first grade for 35 years and loved it, but now I'm content in my retirement. Spending time with my family and friends, watching nieces and nephews play hockey, reading, gardening, crafting and snuggling with my cats all bring me great joy. |

I have served as past Council President of All Saints and currently am a member of the council and the stewardship committee.

My wife Rebecca and I joined All Saints in 2006 when we moved to Cottage Grove. I am presently an assistant principal at a local junior high and have been in the education field as a teacher, coach, and administrator for over 30 years. We are the parents of three children who are all married and have blessed us with three wonderful grandchildren. |

Elaine has been a member since 1980. She has served on the council for 2 terms in the 80s and also on the Worship Committee and Fellowship Committee, she has sung in the church choir. It has been awhile since she has served on the council and she welcomes the opportunity to do so again. Her daughter Audra Philblad and her family are also members. Elaine works at Wells Fargo Shareowner Services in a call center and her hobbies are reading, doing stuff with grandkids and scrapbooking. She has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. Krisi lives in Superior and Alex is in the Air Force and currently lives in Albuquerque. |
